Anise Hyssop, Agastache foeniculum
Native to North America, Anise Hyssop is popular among bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators. And for good reason. It’s gorgeous and delicious. The leaves taste like licorice. They were used by the Chippewa and Cheyenne for treating colds, flus and fevers. They are wonderful in teas, in baths, and shortbread.
